. . . And just a few weeks later, on Luke's 11 month birthday, the little baby has 3 teeth. Ok, actually the 4th one has just broken through his gums, but you can't really tell from this photo. You really have to get in his face to see it.
It finally happened! Luke cut his first tooth the other week. And soon after that one tooth, the other front three have followed suit to one degree or another. Soon he'll have the top and bottom front teeth showing.
He's been doing fairly well with the teething pains, although it seems we have at least one restless night a week because of it.
So I hadn't been the most diligent in putting up all of my Star Wars stuff (surprise), and it was inevitable that now that Luke is mobile that he would eventually find it. Well it happened, and Lisa snatched away the action figures from certain ingestion by our little baby boy. So to satisfy his curiosity and need for his very own toys from that far, far away galaxy, Lisa let him have the toddler Star Wars toys that friends of ours gave Luke when he was born. (Yes, they do have toddler Star Wars toys.) Luke loved them! You could say it was his . . . destiny. (Yes, you know that is a movie quote.)

Luke made his first trip to Tybee Island the 2nd week in July. At first a little unsure, Luke did start to get use to the water and the sand between his toes. Aunt Anna taught him that the beach is fun.
