Playing

Thought it'd be nice for everyone to see the boys playing together. Here's some cute video from the other day - fun for both the boys!

Photo Shoot

Damien captured these great shots of Luke in the "home studio" in October. He is a very happy little boy and loves to give hugs!

Halloween

Luke was an adorable Tigger for Halloween this year, and Grandpa was here to help him celebrate. Because it rained, Luke didn't go trick-or-treating, but he did help give candy to the big kids. According to one of our trick-or-treaters, the pumpkin Damien and I carved was the "best pumpkin in the world!" I'm not sure about that, but I do think it looked pretty good.

Luke really enjoys riding his tricycle. Okay, the truth is, he really likes having us push him on his tricycle. It's great exercise for us, and he loves feeling the wind on his face. Watch out, Lance Armstrong!

Pumpkin Patch

Our little pumpkin enjoyed his trip to the pumpkin patch.

Fun at the Beach

While in Savannah celebrating Luke's birthday, we thought that it would be nice to take some family pictures. What better place than at Tybee dressed in coordinating outfits (Damien loved this part!) It was windy, but a gorgeous day and after the photo shoot, we enjoyed the sun, sand and surf. Below are a few of our favorite pictures.

It's a first birthday paaaarrrrty!

Ok, so we're a little late with this one... So for Luke's 1st birthday, Lisa really went all out and we had a pirate themed party. Or should I say paaaaarrty? Luke got his first (?) taste of cake and enjoyed the cool new play house that cousin Caleb and Aunt Kristin and Uncle Chad gave him. He also loves his new trike, although he's just a little too little to pedal it.
The next weekend, we went to Savannah where Grammy and Grampa, and Aunt Anna and Uncle Josh spoiled Luke with more cake, balloons, and lots of presents.

One year!!!

Wow!! Has it really been a year since Luke was born? Time flies and we can't believe how much our little boy has changed since September 10th of last year. As usual, we took his photo on the chair in his room, next to his stuffed elephant to show how much he's grown. One big difference is that it is much harder to get him to sit still for a photo, but he is also a little ham, so he poses just long enough for me to get a good shot. He's still taking cautious steps, and his 6th tooth is just now starting to show. He will try to eat just about anything so far, even tomatoes (unlike his daddy). He loves ice cream, but is still unsure about pasta. He loves to babble and squeak and squeal and laugh and say "da-dee" and "momm."

First steps!!

Luke took his first steps Labor Day weekend. Fortunately we caught it on video! I just love the expressions he gives us before he takes his steps. And he was fine after his face plant.

Anna and Josh's wedding

Anna and Josh got hitched in Savannah the weekend before Labor Day! It was a wonderful wedding and fun reception. Anna and her whole party looked beautiful, especially during a photo shoot in historic Forsyth Park.

"Apple"

Who would have guessed Luke would enjoy rolling this apple around and how quickly he learned what it was!

Fashion Show!

Lisa's sister Anna is getting married to Josh next weekend in Savannah; Lisa's other sister, Kristin, found a little formal wear for Luke for his aunt's wedding. We had a little fashion show to see if it would fit our little boy.
