Trip to Baltimore

My cousin Peter got hitched to his high school sweatheart, Liz, this past weekend in Baltimore. Luke got to take his first plane trip cross country and he did great, despite your typical airline gaffes - boarding then immediately deplaning in favor of a new plane, two-hour delays, almost being diverted to the Washington airport, etc. At least our bags didn't get lost. I can't say the same for us as we got bad directions from the hotel's website from the airport to our hotel in the Inner Harbor.

All was well once we got to the hotel and we got to meet up with Dad, Linda, Anne-Marie, Brad, and Aunt Chris and Kim, Uncle Tom and Aunt Barbara, and cousins Peter and Catherine for a couple of beers. Then we gave Luke the spa treatment for being such a good little baby.

Our hotel also had a great view of the area from a rooftop garden outside out room. I got all PhotoShop-y and made a panoramic photo out of 6 photos I took. (I'm a photo nerd, I know)

9 months

Luke had his 9 month birthday the other week. He's crawling, sharing his cheerios, giving "hi fives" and is a very very very happy baby boy!

Caleb's First Birthday

Our little nephew Caleb had his first birthday last weekend and he celebrated in grand style with a big pool party and Cookie Monster cake. Luke had a good time hanging out with Grammy, who let him try watermelon for the first time. We're not sure he liked it as it took him a few minutes to chew it up. He also got to sit in one of the wading pools with some of the other party-going tots. He had great fun when Lisa and I were blowing bubbles at him.
