Trains

The last time my Dad was here, he told Luke that next time he came to Savannah, they'd go see some trains.  Dad was referring to the Visitors Center where they have a roundhouse and some train cars on display.  Luke has a fantastic memory and was eager about seeing the trains.  Luke even dressed for the occasion.

Luke loves music and likes playing the piano at Grammy and Grampa's house.  He knows how to sing do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti-do.  Next:  we'll work on where the notes are on the keyboard.  Luke also loves Reuben the Cat.  He kept saying "Hi, Reuben.  How are you?"  Luke always wanted to know where the cat was, but he was still cautious about petting him.

St Patrick's Day in Savannah

Luke and I went to Savannah for St. Patrick's Day this year.  Anna and Josh went very early and saved good seats for the parade.  The parade lasted 3 hours, so there were lots of things to see and hear.  Luke usually doesn't like loud noises, but wasn't bothered until a firetruck put on it's siren and surprised him It was a pretty day and we had a good time.

It was another pretty day, although a little cool, and Luke was in a great mood. I persuaded Damien to hold another photo session.  Here are some of our favorites:

Luke v2.5

Luke and I had a fun photo shoot on the 10th when he turned two-and-a-half.  Look how he's grown!!  I'm not sure he has enough stuffed animals though.
