Trip to the Hamptons 2011

  Our first official vacation of the summer took us to visit my sister, Anne-Marie, her husband Brad, Pops, and Linda at my sister's summer cottage in The Hamptons.  We had a great time catching up with everyone!  It was a nice, relaxing, beach vacation.  We toured the island, grilled out a lot, and spent a couple days swimming in the cold Atlantic.  Here are a ton of pictures:

So Zia (also known as Anne-Marie) bought Luke a felt sandwich-making kit.  He loves it!  Here he makes a huge felt sandwich for Uncle Brad.  He's only two, but he's ready for a career at Subway!

Luke freaked out over the heavy winds at the beach, so much so that he wouldn't let go of the umbrella for (the very real) fear that it would blow away.  It took him a while before he relaxed and enjoyed the sun and surf.  Photo by Brad.
