Luke Reads

One of Luke's favorite books is "Hop on Pop" by Dr. Seuss. One night when reading to Luke, I jokingly asked him what some of the words said and to my surprise, and without prompting, he said the word that I pointed to.
When I called Lisa at work, she didn't believe me, that's why I grabbed the video camera and got proof.
See for yourselves!

New Wofford fans

Uncle Josh is a proud Wofford graduate, and is already recruiting the all three of the boys for the baseball team. Thanks Mrs Iris and Mr Frank for the T-shirts!

Easter Sunday

Easter Egg Hunt!

Luke attended his first Easter Egg Hunt with cousin Caleb at Cedar Crest Church.  Luke quickly got the hang of gathering eggs and collected a basketful.  There were 40,000 eggs laid out on the field, so plenty for all of the little ones.  There was also a small petting zoo, where Uncle Josh helped the boys feed the goats, but Luke was a bit hesitant.  It was a really nice day with the whole family: the 3 of us,  Grammy, Grampa, Rachel, Kristin, Chad, Caleb, Colby, Anna and Josh.

Memphis!

We went to visit Great Aunt Rachel in Memphis the week before Easter (then she came and spent Easter Sunday with us here).
Rachel took Luke to the park at the zoo, where he made lots of little friends.  He really enjoyed sliding and swinging.

Touch-A-Truck

Each spring in downtown Kennesaw, there is a special event called Touch-A-Truck. As Luke as recently learned how to say truck, we thought he might enjoy the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of vehicles. At the event were a fire engine, cement truck, limo and dump truck, to name a few. Luke mostly enjoyed walking around and looking, but did do a little "driving".

Taking it all in - so much to see!

Hey Dad, can I have a semi?

Wow, this cement truck is really big!

Ahhh, more my size!
